Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up a 5-3 victory over Northwest Missouri on Saturday morning to earn a spot in the MIAA Women's Tennis Championship Finals. After the victory, SBU improves to 21-2 on the season.
The Bearcats started things off by taking two of the three doubles matches, with

Maria Josie Zehnder both claiming victories for SBU. Varga, Zentai, and Zehnder all won their singles matches in straight sets as SBU claimed the 5-3 team victory.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, April 26 when they play #21 Northeastern State in the finals of the MIAA Women's Tennis Championship Match. Play is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. from the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
