Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis advanced to the semi-finals of the MIAA Men's Tennis Championship Tournament with a 5-0 victory over Washburn. With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 11-6 on the season.
The Bearcats swept all three doubles positions, with

Yannick Doering/
Alex Belote all claiming victories, as SBU took a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. In singles, the Bearcats received wins from Semrau and Belote to finish off the Ichabods 5-0.
SBU will now take on #2 seed Nebraska-Kearney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
