Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team improved to 9-3 (2-1 MIAA) on Monday with a 7-2 victory over Washburn.
The Bearcats started strong on the afternoon, sweeping all three doubles matches. The Bearcats then took four of six singles matches to seal the victory. Singles victories came from
Sherif Abohabaga,
Torben Semrau,
Yannick Doering, and
Alex Belote while
Kristof Kinal/Abohabaga,
Chris Blodig/Semrau, and Doering/Belote all picked up doubles wins.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, April 4 when they host Lindenwood. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
