Kearney, Neb. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team claimed a 5-4 victory over Nebraska Kearney to improve to 13-1 (4-1 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats picked up two of the three doubles matches, with
Fanni Varga/
Christina Zentai and
Maria Josie Zehnder/
Lani Tuemmers both claiming victories. In singles play, Varga, Zehnder, and
Zorana Jovanovic all won their matches as SBU claimed the 5-4 victory.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, March 28 when they play East Central in Maryville, Missouri.
