Kearney, Neb. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team saw their five-match win streak snapped at #27 Nebraska-Kearney when they fell 5-4. With the loss, SBU drops to 7-3 (1-1 MIAA) on the season.
After doubles play, the Bearcats trailed the Lopers 2-1 with the doubles team of
Yannick Doering/
Alex Belote picking up the lone victory for SBU. The Bearcats and the Lopers split singles play, with
Kristof Kinal, Christian Blodig, and
Sherif Abohabaga all picking up victories, but SBU would end up falling 5-4.
SBU will return to action on Saturday, March 28 when they play East Central in Maryville, Missouri.
