Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team got back to their winning ways on Monday afternoon, taking down Central Oklahoma 6-3. With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 10-1 (2-1 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats got things going in doubles play, taking two of the three doubles matches, while
Fanni Varga,
Maria Josie Zehnder,
Lani Tuemmers, and
Beatrix Federer all claimed singles victories to give SBU a 6-3 win.
SBU will quickly return to action on Tuesday, March 24 when they travel to Southern Nazarene. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany, Oklahoma.
