SBU Women's Tennis Takes Down #31 Cameron 5-4

Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team defeated #31 Cameron 5-4 on Tuesday afternoon, despite playing only two doubles teams and five singles players in the match.

SBU took two of three doubles matches to open up competition, taking a 2-1 lead heading into singles competition. SBU used singles victories from Fanni Varga, Maria Josie Zehnder, and Lani Tuemmers to come away with the 5-4 victory.

The Bearcats will return to MIAA action when they travel to #21 Northeastern State on Sunday, March 22.
