Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team picked up a 8-1 victory over Emporia State to open up MIAA play on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 5-2 (1-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats started off of a strong note by sweeping the doubles matches before

Torben Semrau, and
Alex Belote all claimed singles victory in the 8-1 SBU win.
SBU will return to action on Tuesday, March 17 when they host Cameron University. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
