Joplin, Mo. - The Bearcats are on the road Saturday against Missouri Southern State University on Robert Corn Court inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer is in her first season on the Bearcat bench. Coach Keizer has spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Ronda Hubbard begins her 2nd season as the head coach at Missouri Southern, and her 14th year on staff at MSSU. Hubbard led the Lions to a 19-8 record in her only season as head coach.

Missouri Southern leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 41-21. The Lions claimed a 79-61 victory over the Bearcats this season in Bolivar.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist is coming off of a 61-48 loss against Lincoln and are now 8-15 (3-12 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring by Dilonna Johnson who averages 11.8 ppg and a team high 3.4 apg, while Leann Terrill averages 9.4 points per game. Megan Rosenbohm  also averages 8.6 ppg while Sarah Magana averages 4.7 ppg and a team high 4.4 rpg.

Missouri Southern enters into the game against Southwest Baptist with a 16-6 (10-5 MIAA) record on the season. MSSU is coming off of a 81-69 win over Missouri Western and have won two in a row following a loss to Central Missouri. The Lions are led in scoring by Sharese Jones who is averaging 14.3 ppg and a team high 7.5 rpg. Nicole Hartzog is averaging 13.5 ppg and Camila Larcerda has 6.5 ppg and team high of 2.2 apg.
