SBU Women's Basketball Prepares for Senior Day on Saturday Against Lincoln

Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's basketball team returns home on Saturday to host Lincoln for SBU Senior Day.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer is in her first season on the Bearcat bench. Coach Keizer has spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Nicole Collier begins her 3rd season as the head coach at Lincoln. In her first year, she led Lincoln to their 2nd consecutive MIAA Tournament appearance.

Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Lincoln 27-10. The Blue Tigers claimed a 70-61 victory over the Bearcats earlier this season in Jefferson City.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist is coming off of a 89-76 loss at Lindenwood, and are now 8-14 (3-11 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring by Dilonna Johnson who averages 12.0 ppg and a team high 3.4 apg, while Megan Rosenbohm averages 8.9 points per game off of the bench. Leann Terrill also averages 9.0 ppg while Sarah Magana averages 4.9 ppg and a team high 4.6 rpg.

Scouting the Blue Tigers
Lincoln enters into the game against Southwest Baptist with a 10-11 (5-10 MIAA) record on the season. LU is coming off of a 78-63 loss to Central Missouri and have loss two in a row following a four game win streak. The Blue Tigers are led in scoring by Kelsey Williams who is averaging 12.8 ppg. Hunter Yoakum and Kate Frazier are both in double figures at 12.1 ppg and 10.3 ppg.
