Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist closes out their four game homestand on Thursday when they host Nebraska-Kearney.
The Coaches and the All-Time SeriesSBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer in her second season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to a 9-18 (4-15 MIAA) record last season. Coach Keizer had spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.
Carrie Hofstetter is in her 1st season as the head coach at Nebraska-Kearney. Hofstetter comes to Nebraska-Kearney after serving as the head coach at Hastings College the past three seasons, holding a coaching record of 68-31.
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Nebraska-Kearney 3-0. SBU claimed the only meeting between the two schools last season 81-69 in Kearney.
Scouting the BearcatsSouthwest Baptist dropped a tight, physical contest to #18 Missouri Western 93-87 last time out, and are now 5-2 (1-1 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring and rebounding by
