Box Score Pittsburg, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team picked up their second straight victory on Friday evening, taking down the Gorillas 3-1 in Pittsburg. With the win, SBU improves to 5-21 (3-12 MIAA) on the season.
SBU picked up a 25-22 set one victory, fell in set two 25-21, before taking set three 25-22 and the fourth and final set 25-17.
Lori Angello continued her strong play with a double-double by collecting a team high 15 digs to go along with 11 kills.
Anna Stuehm also collected a double-double for the Bearcats, collecting 44 assists to go along with 10 kills.
Payton White had a team high 13 kills, while
Bailey Baumann and
Hannah Blount each had 12 digs.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, November 7 when they travel to Central Oklahoma. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Edmond, Oklahoma.
