SBU Women's Basketball to Host #11 Drury on Tuesday

Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist continues their three game homestand to open up the 2015-16 season by host #11 Drury on Tuesday night.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer in her second season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to a 9-18 (4-15 MIAA) record last season. Coach Keizer had spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Molly Miller begins her 2nd season as the head coach at Drury. Miller led the Lady Panthers to a 26-4 overall record last season, including a GLVC Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament berth.

Drury leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 6-1. The Lady Panthers claimed a 80-62 victory over the Bearcats last season at Drury.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist opened the season off with a pair of victories at the SBU Classic on the opening weekend of play. The Bearcats took down Henderson State 80-78 on Friday evening before defeating Ouachita Baptist 74-67 on Saturday. 

The Bearcats are led in scoring Dilonna Johnson who is averaging 22.0 points per game while shooting 69.2% from beyond the arc. Caylee Richardson is averaging a double-double at 14.5 ppg and 10.5 rpg, while Megan Rosenbohm is averaging 13.5 ppg and Mackenzie Skupa 8.0 ppg.

Scouting the Lady Panthers
Drury has yet to play a regular season contest, but the Panthers picked up exhibition wins over Columbia College (95-88) and Lyon (87-59).

In their exhibition contests, the Lady Panthers were led in scoring by Alice Heinzler who averaged 16.0 ppg. The Lady Panthers also had Addy Roller (10.0 ppg), Annie Armstrong (10.0 ppg), and Heather Harman (11.5 ppg) averaging double figures.
