Kearney, Neb. - The Southwest Baptist University women's basketball team fought hard at #12 Nebraska-Kearney on Friday evening, but fell 3-0 in the contest. With the loss, SBU drops to 5-23 (3-14 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats dropped the first set 25-22 before falling in sets two and three 25-15 each. Payton White led the SBU attack with 8 kills, while Bailey Baumann had a team high 13 digs, and Anna Stuehm chipped in 18 assists.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, November 14 for their final contest of the 2015 season when they travel to Fort Hays State. Play is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. from Hays, Kansas.
