Box Score Photo GalleryBolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell to #20 Fort Hays 4-1 on Friday afternoon in Bolivar. With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 0-15 (0-7 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats opened the scoring up in the 21st minute of action when
Jason Hasenohr set a free kick from midfield into the box where
Ryan Estus headed the ball over the keeper to give SBU a 1-0 lead. FHSU responded in the 23rd minute of play to tie the game up at 1-1, as the teams went into the break tied 1-1.
In the second half FHSU reeled off three goals in an eight minute period as SBU fell 4-1.
The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday, November 1 when they travel to Missouri Valley. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Marshall, Missouri.
