Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team came up short at home against Northwest Missouri on Friday evening, falling to the Bearcats 3-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 3-18 (1-9 MIAA) on the season.

Southwest Baptist fell in the first set 25-17, the second 25-11, and the third set 26-24. Lori Angello led the Bearcats in both kills (9) and digs (13) while Anna Stuehm had a team high 20 assists in the loss.

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, October 24 when they host Missouri Western. Play is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
