Box Score St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team held tight with Lindenwood on Friday evening, but would end up falling to the Lions 2-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 0-13 (0-5 MIAA) on the season.
Lindenwood opened up the game by scoring a goal in the opening minute of the contest. The Lions would add another goal in the 31st minute as SBU went into half trailing 2-0. The SBU defense buckled down in the second half, keeping the game within reach, but the Bearcats would eventually fall 2-0.
SBU will be back in action on Sunday, October 25 when they travel to Upper Iowa. Play is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
