St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell to Lindenwood on Friday evening 3-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 3-15 (1-7 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats hung tough with the Lions for all three sets, falling in set one 25-22, the second 25-23, and the final set 25-20. Taryn Marton led the Bearcats in kills, with 9, while Payton White added 7. Hannah Blount posted a game high 20 digs, while Anna Stuehm chipped in 27 assists in the loss.

SBU will continue their road trip on Saturday, October 17 when they travel to #13 Central Missouri. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Warrensburg, Missouri.
