Box Score Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell on the road to Harding on Saturday afternoon 3-1. With the loss, the Bearcats drop to 0-10 on the season.
Southwest Baptist and Harding played a tight first half, with the Bearcats outshooting the Bison 10-7, but the score remained tied 0-0 going into the break. In the second half, HU netted goals in the 54th, 69th, and 76th minutes to take a 3-0 lead. The Bearcats were able to get one goal back when
Hunter McRoberts scored on a penalty kick in the 90th minute of play, but it wasn't enough as SBU fell 3-1.
The Bearcats will continue their six game road trip when they travel to #24 Northeastern State on Thursday, October 15. Play is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
