SBU Women's Basketball Hits the Road to Face Lincoln on Saturday

Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist steps away from the Meyer Sports Center in Saturday for one road contest before returning home on a four-game homestand.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer is in her first season on the Bearcat bench. Coach Keizer has spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Nicole Collier begins her 3rd season as the head coach at Lincoln. In her first year, she led Lincoln to their 2nd consecutive MIAA Tournament appearance.

Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Lincoln 27-9. The Bearcats defeated the Blue Tigers last year in Jefferson City 68-55.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist picked up their second straight win with a 70-60 victory over Lindenwood and are now 7-9 (3-6 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in scoring by Dilonna Johnson who averages 10.6 ppg and a team high 3.3 apg, while Megan Rosenbohm averages 10.2 points per game off of the bench. Leann Terrill also averages 7.6 ppg while Sarah Magana averages 5.6 ppg and a team high 4.9 rpg.

Scouting the Blue Tigers
Lincoln comes into the game against Southwest Baptist with a 6-9 (1-8 MIAA) record on the season. LU has dropped five straight, most recently to Central Missouri 79-67. The Blue Tigers are led in scoring by Hunter Yoakum who averages 11.9 ppg. Kate Frazier (11.4 pgg) and Dorian Briggs (10.2 ppg) are also in double-figure scoring while Lizzie Nessling pulls down a team high 5.9 rpg.
