Box Score Hays, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell on the road at hands of Fort Hays State on Saturday afternoon 5-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 0-9 (0-4 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats and the Tigers played a scoreless thirty minutes of action to open up the contest, but the Tigers were able to get on the scoreboard in the 30th minute, and added another first half goal as SBU went down 2-0 heading into the half. In the second half, FHSU added three more goals as SBU fell 5-0.
SBU will return to action on Thursday, September 2 when they host Northeastern State. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
