Box Score Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell at the hands of #14 Central Missouri on Friday evening, 3-0. With the loss, SBU drops to 5-5 (0-2 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats held strong with the Jennies of Central Missouri, but couldn't pull out a set as they fell 25-17, 25-17, 25-19. Taryon Marton led the way for SBU offensively with 9 kills, while
Hannah Blount had 23 digs, and
Kelsey Fankhauser picked up 23 assists in the loss.
SBU will hit the road on Saturday, September 20 when they travel to Lindenwood University. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from St. Charles, Missouri.
