Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team remained perfect in MIAA play with an 8-1 victory over Emporia State on Saturday. With the victory, SBU moves to 9-6 (4-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats started things off sweeping the doubles matches with the doubles teams of
Kristof Kinal/
Omar El Kheshen,
Daniel Cardona/
Chris Blodig, and
Guido Margiotta/
Yannick Doering all picking up victories. SBU then claimed five of six singles matches, as Kinal, El Kheshen, Blodig, Cardona, and Margiotta all picked up victories, en route to an 8-1 victory.
The Bearcats will close out MIAA play on Thursday, April 10 when they host #16 Northwest Missouri. Play is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
