Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team advanced to the semi-finals of the MIAA Tournament on Friday afternoon, taking down Lindenwood 5-0. With the victory, SBU moves to 19-3 on the season.

The Bearcats swept doubles play, with Fanni Varga/Christina Zentai, Mehak Singh/Lani Tuemmers, and Andjela Panovski/Paula Carvajaleno all picking up doubles victories. Zorana Jovanovic and Zentai both picked up singles victories in straight sets as SBU claimed a 5-0 victory.

SBU will face the winner of the Nebraska-Kearney/Northwest Missouri match on Saturday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. from the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
