Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team moved to 7-2 (2-0 MIAA) on the season with a 6-3 victory against Nebraska-Kearney.

The Bearcats opened up play with doubles victories from Fanni Varga/Christina Zentai and Mehak Singh/Lani Tuemmers to take a 2-1 lead into singles action. The Bearcats closed out action by taking four of six singles matches, with victories coming from Varga, Zentai, Singh, and Andjela Panovski, as they cruised to a 6-3 victory.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, March 22 when they host Fort Hays State. Play is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Bolivar, Mo.
