Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team defeated their second straight ranked opponent on Friday afternoon, taking down #51 Nebraska-Kearney 6-3. With the victory, SBU moves to 5-3 (2-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats earned victories in #1 and #2 doubles with the doubles teams of

Daniel Cardona/
Chris Blodig giving SBU a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. SBU closed out the victory with singles wins from Kinal, El Kheshen, Cardona, and
Yannick Doering as the Bearcats claimed a 6-3 victory.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, March 23 when they travel to East Central University to open up a 7-game road trip. Play is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from Ada, Oklahoma.
