Box Score 2 Liberty, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team split with William Jewell on Thursday afternoon, taking game two 6-3 after falling 5-0 in game one.

Tyler Hernandez to give the Bearcats the lead, and
Amanda Smith also came home on a Cardinal error. SBU added another run in the third off of a
Tyler Hernandez single as they increased their lead to 4-1. Jewell responded with two homeruns in the fourth inning, but
Tyler Hernandez continued her strong day with a two-run homerun as SBU went on to a 6-3 game two victory.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, March 22 when they host Ottawa. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from the SBU Softball Field in Bolivar.
