Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team opened up MIAA play with a 7-2 victory over Lindenwood on Saturday. The Bearcats move to 6-2 (1-0 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats started the day off by taking #1 and #2 doubles, while picking up singles victories from Christina Zentai, Lani Tuemmers, Andjela Panovski, and Paula Carvajaleno.

SBU will return to action on Friday, March 21 when they host Nebraska-Kearney. The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the John Bryant Tennis Complex in Bolivar.
