SBU Men's Basketball Continues Road Trip at Central Missouri on Thursday

Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will travel to Central Missouri on Thursday for a game against the Mules.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot is in his tenth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 177-111 (.615) record. Coach Guiot is the winningest coach in SBU history, has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and has three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Kim Anderson is in his 12th season as the head coach of Central Missouri. Anderson is the all-time winningest coach at UCM, holding a career coaching record of 244-90.

Central Missouri leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 37-22. Central Missouri won the last meeting, during the 2012-13 season, by a final of 108-91.

Scouting the Bearcats
SBU is coming off of an 89-74 victory at Pittsburg State and are now 11-10 (4-8 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats are led in scoring by Desi Barmore who averages 17.1 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game, while Rashaad Brown-Peterson averages 15.9 points per game. Derrick Stewart averages 11.1 points per game, hitting a team high 57 three's, while Preston Guiot averages 9.3 points per game and 7.0 assists per game.

Scouting the Mules
Central Missouri comes into the game against Southwest Baptist with a 17-4 (9-3 MIAA) record on the season. Central Missouri is coming off of a 75-62 win over Missouri Southern and have won three straight.

Central Missouri is led in scoring by Dillon Deck who is averaging 13.8 ppg and a team high 5.4 rpg. Daylen Robinson and Charles Hammork are both in double figures, averaging 12.3 ppg and 11.6 ppg respectively.
