Kansas City, Mo. – Southwest Baptist's Omar El Kheshen has won the first MIAA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week award for the season.

El Kheshen picked up two victories, in both singles and doubles, against #14 Graceland (NAIA) as SBU won their season opener last weekend. El Kheshen and his doubles partner, Kristof Kinal, won doubles 9-8, followed by a 6-3, 6-2 singles victory over the #40 ranked player in the NAIA. The junior is a native of Cairo, Egypt.
