Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist continues their four-game homestand when they host Blue Mountain College on Monday.

Clark Sheehy begins his first season on the SBU bench after coming to the Bearcats from John Brown University. Coach Sheehy holds a career coaching record of 182-106 across nine seasons while coaching six different All-Americans and over 20 athletes that have moved on to play professional basketball.
J.D. Parker is in his 5th year as the head coach at Blue Mountain College. Parker picked up his 100th win of his coaching career on November 17th.
Monday's game marks the first meeting between Southwest Baptist and Blue Mountain College.
Scouting the BearcatsThe Bearcats are coming off of their first MIAA victory of the season with a 71-51 win over Emporia State, and now improve to 4-6 (1-2 MIAA) on the season. Southwest Baptist is led in scoring by
Menas Stephens who averages a double-double at 11.8 points per game and a team high 10.6 rebounds per game.
Daymond Cowlah averages 11.6 points per game to go along with 3.1 assists per game, while
Robert Shaw is averaging 7.5 points per game and
Derrick Stewart is averaging 7.3 points per game.
Scouting the ToppersBlue Mountain College comes into the game against Southwest Baptist with a 4-4 record on the season. The Toppers are coming off of a 75-70 win over Tougaloo nearly two weeks ago. BMC is led in scoring by Shane Butler who is averaging 18.0 ppg and a team high 2.5 apg. DeAundre Smith averages 8.9 ppg while Anfernee Floyd averages 8.8 ppg and a team high 7.1 rpg.
