SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer in her first season on the Bearcat bench. Coach Keizer has spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Jill Cress begins her 19th season as the head coach at William Jewell. Cress holds a coaching record of 366-223 at William Jewell, and has coached 8 All-American's.

Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against William Jewell 11-5. SBU claimed a 74-70 victory over WJC last season in Bolivar.
