SBU Women's Basketball Hits the Road to Face #3 Drury on Tuesday

Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will hit the road on Tuesday to face off against #3 Drury in the annual Highway 13 'Cat Fight.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer in her first season on the Bearcat bench. Coach Keizer has spent the past three years as the assistant at Southwest Baptist after playing collegiately for Division I Drake.

Molly Miller begins her first season as the head coach at Drury University. Miller played collegiately for Drury, and spent last season as an assistant coach on the team that went to the NCAA Tournament.

Drury leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 5-1. Drury claimed a 77-76 victory over Southwest Baptist last year in Bolivar.

Scouting the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist is coming off of a 76-74 loss to Ouachita Baptist to open up the season, and are now 0-1 on the young season. The Bearcats had five in double-figures in their first game of the season, led by Dilonna Johnson's 14 points. Brook Duncan also had 12 points to go along with 5 assists, while Alexis Edwards, Leann Terrill, and Sarah Magana all had 10 points.

Scouting the Lady Panthers
Drury opened up the season with a pair of wins over Colorado Christian College (84-76) and Colorado Mesa (81-58) and stand at 2-0 on the season. Annie Armstrong leads the way for DU, averaging 21.0 points per game, while Sanayika Shields averages a double-double at 10.5 points per game and 12.0 rebounds per game.
