Box Score Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell on the road at Central Oklahoma 3-0 on Tuesday evening. With the loss, SBU drops to 9-20 (4-17 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats lost the first set 25-17 before dropping a close set two 27-25 before falling in the final set 25-11.
Payton White led the way for SBU with 13 kills with no errors and five digs.
Taryn Marton,
Mackynzi Gibson, and
Lori Angello all had 9 kills, while
Kelsey Fankhauser picked up 32 assists. Defensively,
Hannah Blount had a team high 10 digs while Marton added 8 digs and Angello had 7.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, November 15 when they travel to Missouri Southern to close out the season. The match is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. from Joplin, Missouri.
