Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team hung tight with Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon, but would fall 1-0 to the Lions.

The Bearcats played a strong defensive game throughout the entire contest, limiting the Lions to only 11 shots on the day. SBU put together an all-around excellent performance, but came up just short as Lindenwood netted a goal with only 8 minutes left in regulation as SBU would fall 1-0.

SBU will continue their home stand on Thursday, October 16 when they host #24 Fort Hays State. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from Bolivar.
