Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will kick off a two-game roadtrip when they travel to Missouri Western on Saturday.
The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot is in his tenth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 174-109 (.615) record. Coach Guiot is the winningest coach in SBU history, has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and has three NCAA Tournament appearances.
Brett Weiberg is in his 1st season as the head coach of Missouri Western. Weiberg holds a career coaching record of 129-85, all at Northern Oklahoma College.
Missouri Western leads the all-time series 48-28, claiming a 72-58 victory last season at MWSU.
Scouting the Bearcats
SBU is coming off of a 104-69 loss against Northwest Missouri and are now 8-8 (1-6 MIAA) on the season.
