Box Score Topeka, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team fell to the Ichabods of Washburn on Sunday afternoon 4-1.
Washburn got on the board early in the first half, taking a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute. The Ichabods added another goal before half as SBU went into the half down 2-0. Washburn added another goal before the Bearcats were able to get on the scoreboard. In the 75th minute
Kate Jamison knocked in her fifth goal of the season off of a midfield pass from
Ali Skogrand to pull SBU within two at 3-1. Washburn would add another goal as the Bearcats ended up falling 4-1.
SBU will return home on Friday, October 4 as they are set to host #14 Central Missouri. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
