Box Score Fayette, IA – The SBU Bearcats Men's soccer team fell to 0-9 on the season as they lost to the Peacocks of Upper Iowa University 4-2.
The Bearcat's
Kaleb Romero got things started early at the 6:42 mark with a goal off of a deflection to put the Bearcats on top early 1-0. It was Romero's seventh goal of the season. Upper Iowa would answer quickly into the second half with a goal of their own to tie things up 1-1. The Peacocks would go on to score three more unanswered goals to move the score to a 4-1 advantage. SBU got on the board one last time late in the second half off of a header by
Bradley Stillwagon, who was assisted by
Colton Harden.
The Bearcats will be back in action October 1st as they return home to take on Ouachita Baptist University at 3:00 p.m.
