Box Score Bolivar, MO – The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team opened up MIAA play with a 2-1 loss on Friday afternoon by hosting the #14 Lindenwood Lions.
 
The Lion's struck first at the 28:56 mark in the first half, but was matched by the Bearcat's Kaleb Romero at the 35:43 mark. The half ended tied 1-1. Lindenwood would find the net one last time in the second half and that is where it would stand as the final would end 2-1.
 
The Bearcat's fall to 0-7 on the year and 0-1 in the MIAA. They get back in action September 24^th on the road against William Jewell at 7:30 pm in Liberty, Missouri.
