Box Score 2 Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University baseball team fell in a double-header to #16 Drury on Wednesday evening, dropping game one 3-1 and game two 6-0.
In game one
Landon Young led the game off by hitting a solo homerun to left field to put SBU up 1-0. The Panthers would tie the game up at 1-1 in the bottom half of the inning. SBU and Drury continued their pitching dual, before the Panthers would add two more runs in the bottom of the fourth as SBU fell in game one 3-1. The Bearcats were able to produce six game two hits, but were unable to get on the scoreboard as they lost game two 6-0.
Landon Young went a combined 3-8 on the day, with a solo homerun, to lead the Bearcat offensive attack.
Southwest Baptist finished the 2013 season with a 20-29 record, collecting a record high 18 MIAA victories on the season.
