Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team dropped a hard fought battle against #38 Washburn on Tuesday afternoon 5-4.

The Bearcats took a 2-1 lead after doubles play, with the doubles teams of Kristof Kinal/Omar El Kheshen and Domingos Carissimo/Daniel Cardona picking up victories. The Bearcats also recieved singles victories from Domingos Carissimo and Kristof Kinal, but it wasn't enough as SBU fell 5-4.

The Bearcats close out the regular season 8-9 (4-2 MIAA) and will await their opponent in the MIAA Men's Tennis Post-Season Tournament.
