St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their ninth MIAA victory on the season with a 9-0 victory over Lindenwood on Thursday afternoon.

The Bearcats swept the doubles matches before Fanni Varga, Mehak Singh, Christina Zentai, Adrienn Kovacs, Faiga Schmidt, and Andjela Panovski all claimed singles matches in the Bearcats sweep. SBU lost just seven combined sets on the entire day, three in doubles play and four in singles play.

SBU will return to action on Sunday, April 14 when they travel to Maryville, Missouri to battle Northwest Missouri.
