St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team picked up their eighth victory on the season with a 5-4 victory at Lindenwood on Friday afternoon. With the victory the Bearcats move to 8-7 (4-0 MIAA) on the season.

SBU jumped ahead 2-1 after doubles play, with the doubles teams of Domingos Carissimo/Omar El Kheshen and Kristof Kinal/Alex Belote claiming the two victories. Carissimo, Kinal, and Daniel Cardona all picked up singles victories to help the Bearcats claim a 5-4 win.

SBU will return to action on Sunday, April 14 when they travel to Northwest Missouri for a battle of the Bearcats. Play is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from Maryville, Missouri.
