Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team continued their winning streak by defeating MIAA opponent Truman State 8-1 in the opening MIAA match-up for both teams. With the victory, SBU moves to 6-0 (1-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats claimed singles victories from Varga, Singh, Zentai, Kovacs, and Schmidt, while doubles victories came from the teams of Varga/Zentai, Kovacs/Schmidt, and Singh/Panovski.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, March 10 when they travel to St. Charles, Missouri for an MIAA match against Lindenwood. The match is set to begin at 12:00 p.m.
