Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team lost a double header at Central Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon, dropping game one 1-9 and game two 0-8.
In game one the Bearcats fell behind 6-0 before they were able to get on the scoreboard.
Tori Lamkins led the inning off by getting hit by a pitch, followed by
Caitlyn Cooner getting hit by a pitch, and
Hailey Turner singling to load up the bases. Cyndel Carter then had an rbi groundout to first base as the Bearcats were able to get on the scoreboard. However, it wasn't enough as SBU fell 1-9 in game one. The Bearcats were unable to get on the scoreboard in the second game, as they fell 0-8.
SBU will continue their road trip on Saturday, March 30 when they travel to Northeastern State. Opening pitch is set for 12:00 p.m.
