Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team won their 12th straight match on Friday afternoon in Springfield, taking down Central Oklahoma 6-3. With the victory SBU moves to 12-0 (6-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats started things off by taking two of three from the doubles matches with
Fanni Varga/
Christina Zentai and
Mehak Singh/
Andjela Panovski both claiming doubles victories. Singles victories came from Varga, Singh, Zentai, and
Adrienn Kovacs as SBU went on to a 6-3 victory.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, March 23 when they go up against Northeastern State. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. from the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri.
