Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team lost a double-header against Emporia State on Wednesday afternoon, dropping game one 0-8 and game two 0-11.

On the afternoon the Bearcats collected hits from Alandria Jenson and Caitlyn Cooner while also drawing five walks in the two losses. The Bearcats now fall to 4-20 (0-6 MIAA) on the season.

SBU will be back in action on Saturday, March 22 when they are set to host Washburn (6-14; 2-4 MIAA). Opening pitch from the SBU Softball Field is set for 2:00 p.m.
