                 Bentonville, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University softball team dropped two games in Bentonville on Saturday, losing 0-18 to Illinois-Springfield, and 1-11 to Concordia-St. Paul.
After dropping the early game to Illinois-Springfield, SBU came back in the afternoon to face another tough battle against Concordia-St. Paul. After going down 0-9, 
Stacie Davis blasted a solo homerun, her first of the year, to get the Bearcats on the scoreboard. Concordia-St. Paul would go on to claim a 1-11 victory.
The Bearcats return to action on Sunday, February 17 to close out the opening weekend tournament. The Bearcats are set to face Henderson State and Southern Arkansas tomorrow.
