Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist is set to host Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday, their second straight MIAA home game, and the fourth of five straight home games.
The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot in his tenth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 172-104 (.623) record. Coach Guiot is the winningest coach in SBU history, has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and has three NCAA Tournament appearances.
Tom Kropp is in his 24th season as the co-head coach of the Lopers. Kropp holds a career coaching record of 449-222 (.669). Kevin Lofton is in his 9th season as the co-head coach of the Lopers. Lofton holds a career coaching record of 123-102 (.547).
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Nebraska-Kearney 2-1. The Bearcats won last year's game 89-88.
Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats are coming off of a tough 89-87 loss against #22 Washburn and now stand at 6-3 (0-1 MIAA) heading into the weekend.

Scouting the Lopers
Nebraska-Kearney enters into the contest with Southwest Baptist with a 2-3 (0-1 MIAA record). The Lopers are coming off of a 99-79 loss at Missouri Southern.
