Karla Jamison netted two goals for Southwest Baptist as they move on to the MIAA Championship game with a 2-1 victory over Emporia State. The Bearcats avenged a 1-0 loss to Emporia State earlier in the season.
Jamison got the scoring started off in the 21st minute when she scored her ninth goal off the season off a rebound to put SBU up 1-0. Jamison added her second goal of the day fifteen minutes later off of a
Kate Jamison assist to give the Bearcats a 2-0 lead. Emporia State would get one goal back in the second half from Emily Haselwood, but the Bearcats would claim the victory 2-1.

Paige Hemphill picked up the victory while collecting two assists. As a team SBU outshot Emporia State 27-11. The win ties SBU with the second most wins in a season at 13.
The Bearcats will play in the MIAA Championship game against Central Oklahoma on Sunday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. from Olathe, Kansas with an automatic berth to the NCAA Playoffs on the line. In the only meeting between the Bearcats and Bronchos this season, SBU was victorious 2-1 at UCO.
